Step 1
In the first step of our guide on how to draw Spiderman, we will be drawing his head. Spiderman's mask is very distinctive, ad it is composed of a tight mask over his head with large white eyes.
Using the reference picture as your guide, start with some curved lines for the head outline of Spiderman.
Then, you can draw some lines down from the head and then extend them horizontally for his shoulders.
Then we will be drawing his eyes which will be made up of some thick curved lines that have a sharp point at the top. Once you have the head complete, you can move on to step 2!
Step 2 – Now, draw the chest and arms for Spiderman
Drawing Spiderman can be a bit tricky as his costume is tight-fitting, and that means having to draw musculature.
Drawing human bodies can be difficult as it can be tricky to get it looking right, but we will take it slowly for your Spiderman drawing!
We will be using some curved lines for the shoulders for Spiderman, and then draw the start of his arms.
Then we will be drawing his chest and waist for Spiderman, and he will be ready for some more details in the next steps.
Step 3 – Now, draw some more of the body
We will continue drawing his body in this step of our guide on how to draw Spiderman.
First, you can finish off the arm on the right, which will have a balled fist at the end of it. Then, you can use some curved lines for the forearm on the left.
Once you have that drawn, we can then start to draw his waist and the top halves of his legs.
Before moving on to the next steps, we will be adding some lines on his waist and throughout his chest and arms for the start of the pattern of his outfit.
When you've recreated the lines in the example, we are ready for step 4!
Step 4 – Next, draw the rest of the body outline for Spiderman
This part of your Spiderman drawing will show you how to finish off the outline of Spiderman's body. First, draw the other fist on the left-hand arm.
Then we will finish off the knees and rest of the legs for Spiderman to complete the outline.
With the outline done, we have to add a giant spider symbol onto his chest, otherwise he would just be a guy in a bodysuit!
Now you're ready to finish off the final details of his suit in the next step, so let's proceed.
Step 5 – Now, finish off your Spiderman drawing
